“Get listeners to soundtrack and
share their life through Spotify”

︎ CONCEPT IDEATION

Spotify Jukebox- a concept which merges  playlist curation and social media;  the user has an ‘ultimate’  playlist limited to 50 songs  in which they curate to soundtrack their life.  The jukebox is the hub for that user’s listening habits and history.

As a representation of each user’s unique music taste, the jukebox can be personalised by colour.  The more the user listens to spotify, the more rewards they are presented with, which are displayed on the jukebox- which can be seen by others as the jukebox is shared. For example,  as a user listens to 10,000 hours of disco, they are rewarded with a disco ball icon.

The brand of spotify was  studied so the jukebox concept would be consistent with the rest of the application. The same fonts, colours and gradients were used on the design to make it look like a Spotify feature.

Figma was used to draw some frames of what this concept could look like on the desktop application.
